About our Farm

Stony Hill Farms is a 500 acre produce farm in Chester, New Jersey, owned and operated by the Davis Family.

Our farm was founded in 1988 by our father, Dale Davis. His love of breeding and growing orchid plants and has since grown to be a family operation that includes a Garden Center, Farm Market, Corn Maze, Pick-Your-Own, and CSA Program.

Each of our 7 family members plays a role in managing our farm.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a relationship of mutual trust and commitment between us, as farmers, and our members. In exchange for an annual membership fee we provide our members with the highest quality produce from our family farm. We also offer our own cage-free brown eggs.

We offer half and full share options. A dozen or a half dozen eggs can be added to share options.

We distribute our CSA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from June through November.

Wednesday Pick Up Locations:

Jersey City Medical Center 3pm-5pm
South Orange Farmer's Market 2pm-7pm
Hamilton Park Farmer's Market(Jersey City) 3pm-7pm

Thursday Pick Up Locations:

-Grove Street Farmers' Market (Path Station): 4pm-8pm

-Stony Hill Farm Market (15 North Road Chester, NJ): 1pm-6pm
-Uptown Hoboken Farmer's Market (14th and Hudson) 3pm-7pm

Saturday Pick Up Locations:

-Hell's Kitchen Farmers' Market (43rd & 10th St. NYC): 10am-4pm

-Paulus Hook Farmers' Market (Portside Towers, Washington St. Jersey City):11am-4pm

-Garden Street Farmers Market (14th & Garden Street, Jersey City): 9am-2pm

Sunday Pick Up Locations:
-Riverview Farmer's Market (River-fiske Park, The Heights, Jersey City): 10am-3pm
